Wintergreen, an evergreen shrub, undergoes photosynthesis throughout the winter season. Belonging to the genus Gaultheria, it grows to a height of 5-6 inches in sandy and barren plains. The flowers of this shrub are extensively used for the extraction of essential oil through the steam distillation process.

Uses and Benefits of Wintergreen Oil:
